It’s not even Friday yet, but Amazon is offering some pretty sweet discount deals on high ticket items such as an iPhone, XBox console and Sony TV in its week of Black Friday deals.

Amazon is getting a head start on the biggest shopping event of the year, offering hawk-eyed money-saving customers new deals every 10 minutes between eight in the morning to nine in the evening.

That’s a lot of deals.

Among them is a pre-owned refurbished 32GB iPhone 5 with a £100 discount at £379 for anyone looking to get a good Apple deal and two days before the Apple Store’s own deals begin.

Microsoft's XBox game pack is reduced to £289 from £349 saving games fans a few pennies.

There’s also a 48-inch Sony TV on offer with a saving of £270 at £439 as well as a huge 70 per cent saving on a Philips Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush, reduced from £250 to £73.99.

Garmin Virb Elite HD Action Camera with GPS and Wi-Fi – £159.99 (Source: Amazon)

Garmin’s GoPro-like Elite Action Camera is a steal too, reduced from £349.99 to £159.99.

Amazon's flash deals could save savvy shoppers a significant sum on some pricier items, although they'll have to snap them up quick- the offers last for a limited time or until the stock sells out.
