Corrections Policy

We correct errors promptly, transparently, and without burying the correction.

If you believe an article on Morning Wire contains a factual error, we want to know. Submit the details below and our editor will review your claim. If the error is verified, we will correct the article and add a visible correction note explaining what was changed and when.

What we will do

Minor factual corrections (spelling of a name, wrong figure, incorrect date) are corrected in the article body with a note at the top or bottom: "Correction: An earlier version of this article stated X. This has been corrected to Y."

Significant corrections that change the meaning of an article are noted prominently at the top of the article.

We do not silently delete articles or alter them without a correction note.

What to include

Please provide: the URL of the article, the specific sentence or claim you believe is incorrect, the correct information, and any supporting sources or evidence. The stronger your evidence, the faster we can verify and act.

Direct email

You can also email corrections directly to [email protected] with the subject line "Correction".
