The ATP World Tour Finals could stay at the O2 Arena for three more years
British tennis fans could be treated to a further two years of the ATP Tour World Finals, the season curtain closer that takes place at the O2 Arena every November.
The tournament attracted over 260,000 fans to Greenwich last year to fill the 17,500 capacity arena, and according to The Telegraph, the Association of Tennis Professionals does not want to risk moving its biggest money maker just yet.

Current world number one Novak Djokovic won last year's event after Roger Federer was forced to pull out of the tournament with injury, picking up the ATP Tour's biggest paycheque of $2.1m (£1.3m).
The case for keeping the event in the British capital is likely to have been strengthened by Chris Kermode, the former director of the Finals and current executive chairman of the ATP who has heralded the London base for helping bring "huge meaning" to the tournament.

Kermode is rumoured to have been presented with serious interest to host the tournament from Asian, Middle Eastern and North American cities, but few candidates would have been able to match the 1.5m fans London has attracted to the O2 Arena in the last five years.
The ATP could not be reached for comment.
