EU migrant crisis: Arsenal continue Syrian refugee aid efforts by pledging £1 per ticket sold this Saturday
Arsenal will issue a show of financial support for those affected by the Syrian refugee crisis at this Saturday's Premier League game against Stoke City.

Manager Arsene Wenger revealed today: "For the game against Stoke… £1 per ticket will be donated to the Syrian crisis."
Wenger also said the Gunners will donate €1 from every ticket sold for Arsenal's 29 September Champions League clash with Olympiakos, in line with a Uefa-wide initiative.
Arsenal have long supported relief efforts for Syrian refugees from Save the Children, having donated £400,000 to the cause since 2012.
In 2013, former Arsenal centre-back Martin Keown opened a new football pitch for Syrian children at the Za'atari refugee camp in Jordan on behalf of the club.
Earlier this week the 80 teams in Uefa's Champions League and Europa League agreed to donate €1 per ticket from their first home game to the ongoing refugee crisis.
The initiative was confirmed by the European Club Association (ECA), which counts Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis as a member.
"We expect a sum between €2m (£1.45m) – €3m", said ECA chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. "Football, too, has responsibility."
Other European clubs to have raised aid include Roma, who donated over €500,000 to the Football Cares fund, and Bayern Munich, who pledged a €1m donation and a training camp for refugees in Munich.
