Black Friday 2015 UK: Halfords is offering in-store deals for the first time this year – and here are some of the best bargains
The UK is lurching towards the bargains bonanza that is Black Friday (three weeks and counting: the big day is on 27 November).
While some retailers are hoping to sit out some of the bunfest that was in-store sales this year, others are joining in for the first time.
Halfords will be offering Black Friday deals in store for the first time this year, alongside its existing online offers.
And the bikes retailer is getting in on the action early, with a number of children's bikes, scooters and ride-ons being offered for as much as half price off already.
Some of the bargains include Apollo Cherry Lane – down to £89.99 from £179.99 – and Apollo Firechief, which is £59,99, down from £119.99. Halfords is promising huge bargains for Black Friday weekend itself, from 27 to 30 November.
For those who can't trust their children not to rifle through everything in the house to see whether they are getting their dream present, customers will be allowed to keep the bike in a Halfords store until Christmas for free.
Halfords is also pushing the #nothingbeatsabike hashtag on social media.
