Paris attacks: All sporting events cancelled across the weekend, FA to discuss England v France postponement
All sporting events and competitions in Paris and the Île-de-France area have been cancelled following the terrorist attacks that left at least 120 dead.
Explosions were heard outside the Stade de France stadium while France played Germany in an international friendly match last night, thought to be from suicide bombers targeting the event.
Paris authorities are still unsure of the precise numbers killed – but at least 120 have been reported dead in five other coordinated attacks around Paris last night.
All sporting competitions in Paris and the surrounding have now been called off including all Ligue 1 football matches scheduled for next week.
Glasgow Warriors' scheduled game with Racing Metro '92 today in the European Champions Cup has been postponed.

The England football team's friendly with France on Tuesday at Wembley also looks set to be scrapped following the horrific events.
The FA have confirmed they will hold urgent talks with their French counterparts to discuss the matter.
A spokesman said: "If there is any update on the match on Tuesday we will announce it in due course. We will liaise with the French Federation over the weekend."

Over 80,000 fans were present at the Stade de France when explosions were heard last night, including French president Francois Hollande who was hurried from the stadium to a crisis meeting.
At the final whistle scores of fans gathered on the pitch with many exit points cut off by Police in a security measure. The evacuation was not complete until around midnight.
Earlier in the day the German team had been evacuated from their hotel in the west of Paris following a bomb scare.
After the match, players from both teams could be seen watching the news in shock as the catastrophe unfurled elsewhere in the city.
