The daughter of former Barclays boss Bob Diamond, Nell, has launched her own bedding company Hill House Home.

Diamond said on Twitter she had always wanted to work in design:

Hill House Home's website promises "we’ve spent thousands of hours exploring fibres and finishes… We’re experts in bedding so you don’t have to be."

Diamond said she was launching the company, which is based in New York, to bring "smart luxury to the market that's as equally aspirational as it is attainable”.

The concept for Hill House Home was developed as part of Yale’s Start-Up Founder Practicum, an incubator for companies conceived by students at the Yale School of Management, where Diamond studied, graduating last year.

While studying at Yale, Diamond worked as a retail performance analyst at Louis Vuitton in the US. She previously worked as a fixed income analyst at Deutsche Bank in New York.
