Just Eat delivers new chief finance chief
Just Eat is serving up a new chief financial officer, after it said this morning that it has poached Paul Harrison, from Sheffield tech company WANdisco.
Harrison will join the food delivery platform in September and will replace Mike Wroe, who has been at the company for eight years. Wroe will stay in place through the rest of 2016 and during the first half of 2017.
Wroe helped to see Just Eat through initial public offering in April 2014. The company's shares have increased nearly 74 per cent since.
More recently, the company has been gobbling up rivals in Spain, Italy, Brazil and Mexico.
David Buttress, chief executive of Just Eat, said: "I would like to thank Mike for the outstanding job he has done as CFO of Just Eat since 2008.
"In that time, Just Eat has grown from a small private company with a big vision to a large public business with even greater ambitions. He has been a trusted colleague and friend throughout, expertly marshalling Just Eat through our IPO and our very strong performance since. I wish him all the best for the future."
Mike Wroe said: "I have made many great friends at the company, and wish David and his team every success for the future. I will continue to support the executive team over the coming months and will then be looking forward to my next challenge."
