The Northern Line has been thrown into chaos due to a fire alert at Archway station in north London. There are severe delays on the entire line.

Meanwhile, severe delays are continuing on the Piccadilly Line, also caused by a shortage of trains.

Around half the Piccadilly Line fleet was taken out of service for repairs last week, and until all the trains are restored to proper working order, a reduced timetable is running.
