Half of trains delayed or cancelled: London’s worst train station revealed
Clapham Junction has been revealed as the worst train station in London with more than half of all trains running late or being cancelled so far this year.
Research conducted by Which? found that South Western, with 60 per cent of trains late or cancelled, and Southern, 58 per cent, were the worst rail operators using the south London station.
In total 54 per cent all of trains departed or arrived at Clapham Junction late or were cancelled.

King's Cross was the second worst offender , where 45 per cent of services were delayed, followed by London Victoria's 44 per cent and Stratford's 41 per cent.
Gatwick Airport was one of the worst rail blackspots outside London – 60 per cent of services were late or cancelled.
“Passengers have told us reliability is hugely important to them. People have been left deeply frustrated at the unacceptably high levels of delays and cancellations which impact on their everyday lives,” Which? managing director Alex Hayman said, calling for the upcoming government rail review to be centred on improving punctuality.

Nationally, Manchester Oxford Road was the worst station in the UK, with 68 per cent of all services delayed or cancelled, and one in 20 trains being cancelled.
A spokesman for Govia Thameslink Railway, which operates the Southern franchise, said: "Thameslink services are back on track and Southern recently recorded the best punctuality for five years.
"However, both have to use the UK's most congested rail corridor in Croydon where passenger numbers have doubled in as little as 12 years.
"This can delay services both at Gatwick and also at Clapham Junction, which itself is is Europe's busiest station, used by up to 180 trains an hour."
