WHERE TO STAY
When it comes to luxury accommodation, there’s only one place to stay in Toronto: the Four Seasons. The chain started in Toronto, and the flagship duly embodies the Four Seasons’ signature mix of style and indulgence.

WHERE TO EAT
Complete with exposed brick-work and low-wattage lightbulbs, Buca has plenty of style, and substance to match. Rustic Italian (with a modern twist of course) is the order of the day, and there are some unusual treats on the menu for the adventurous among you: the horse stew is excellent.

WHERE TO DRINK
You’ve heard of molecular gastronomy – but what about molecular drinks? Toronto’s super-trendy Barchef is the place to go if you’re thirsty for, er, cedar wood, lavender or patchouli. Barchef’s ingenious mixologist will blow your mind.

WHERE TO GO
The Royal Ontario Museum is one of the biggest museums in north America. It contains everything from dinosaur exhibits to African art. Look out for the Lee-Chin Crystal, which divided Toronto residents when it was added to the building in 2007.
