After wreaking havoc in New York, Storm Stella is now heading to the UK
Storm Stella, which devastated parts of the US yesterday and led to thousands of cancelled flights on both sides of the Atlantic is heading to the UK, bringing 60 mph gales and downpours on Friday.
As well as cancelled flights, schools and businesses across the Eastern Seaboard were closed after 2ft of snow fell in some areas.

The storm will come just as Londoners are getting used to warmer temperatures, with the mercury due to hit 16 degrees today.
Lest we forget, towards the end of last month Storm Doris wreaked havoc over Britain with gusts of 50-60 mph and warnings issued for rain, snow, wind, fog and ice.
The Met Office has said it could issue wind warnings in the North West of the country when Stella hits, but has reassured Britons the effects will be far weaker than what was experienced in the US.
