Alonso fit to race in US Grand Prix
FORMULA ONE: Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso has been passed fit to drive in the United States Grand Prix following his admission to hospital for a back injury suffered at the weekend’s race in Abu Dhabi. Ferrari said Alonso went to hospital as part of a “normal precautionary check” under guidelines set out by governing body the FIA.
