Barcelona star Andres Iniesta makes vineyard permanently available on Airbnb

After a competition to let one couple stay at his family vineyard, World Cup winner Andres Iniesta has placed "Bodega Iniesta" on Airbnb permanently.

"In our cozy cottage you will find everything you need for an unforgettable night", boasts the Barcelona midfield maestro on the property's listing.

"Decorated with a warm touch, you can enjoy the fireplace with a glass of wine, relax on the couch or stroll among the vines".

Not mentioned: You can tell your friends you lounged on the same couch, crashed out on the same bed and sipped the same wine as the scorer of the winning goal in the 2010 World Cup final.

Nights at the quaint one-bedroom pad based in one of Spain's most renowned wine regions, Castilla-La Mancha, are priced at €125 (£90) during the week and €150 at weekends.

In December, Airbnb ran a competition to allow one couple to spend a night at the vineyard and even receive a special guest visit from the diminutive giant of world football himself.

Unfortunately, that seems to be a one-off privilege – but travellers can still explore Iniesta's hometown of Fuentealbilla.

House rules include a ban on pets and cigarettes and a responsibility to keep the place tidy.
