TECHNOLOGY giant Apple, led by CEO Tim Cook (pictured), has set aside a date – 9 September – for a major media event. It is expected to be the much-anticipated launch of its iPhone 6. If previous launches are a reliable guide, the new phone could then be on public sale from Friday, 19 September. It is expected to come in two sizes – 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches.
