Nichols posts sweet rise in sales
Shares in Vimto-maker Nichols jumped four per cent yesterday after it said it expects to beat full year profit forecasts and revealed a strong set of figures. Nichols, which also makes Sunkist and Levi Roots, posted a nine per cent rise in sales to £108m in the year to 31 December driven by good performances in both its UK and overseas businesses. Analysts predict profits for the year to be around £20m.
