Bayonne roar back to overcome Harlequins
HARLEQUINS squandered a half-time lead as they slipped to a 16-12 defeat at Bayonne in their Amlin Challenge Cup opener.
Four penalties from Nick Evans put Quins 12-8 up at the break but the French side roared back with tries from Joe Pietersen and Sam Gerber.
In a match played in torrential rain, the visitors had to deal with Chris Robshaw being sin-binned before Cedric Garcia’s penalty sealed victory.
