Eastern City is delighted to partner with the homelessness charity Providence Row to deliver the The Mile Between Us Cup 2026 – a five-a-side football tournament like no other!

On 17th July, Providence Row and Eastern City BID will bring together businesses for an afternoon of football, friendly rivalry and fundraising in support of people affected by homelessness. 

In its third year and co-inciding with the World Cup, the tournament will be bigger and better, with more teams, a bigger venue and a wider platform for local impact.

There will be:

  • 20 teams (all ages, genders, and abilities)
  • Teams of 5 (+2 subs)
  • Cup and Plate competitions
  • Trophies and prizes
  • Networking and friendly rivalry
  • Fundraising for Providence Row (£500 donation per team)
  • Bragging rights as the best team in the City

There will be networking opportunities and drinks after the goal scoring matches.
