Belgium v Portugal friendly cancelled following Brussels terror attacks
Belgium have moved next week's friendly match with Portugal to Leiria following terrorist attacks in Brussels.
Plans to hold the game at the King Baudouin Stadium next Tuesday were scrapped on the request of city authorities.
Belgium's football association has arranged to play the game in Portugal and has offered to refund fans who bought a ticket to the game.
"Given the dramatic events of yesterday, in these difficult times to allow mass events to take place safely and given the terror level 4 at national level, the game against Portugal will not take place in Brussels next Tuesday," read a KBVB statement. "This was decided today in coordination with the authorities and the Portuguese Football Federation."
On Tuesday, more than 30 people were killed and 230 wounded in the Belgian capital after suicide bombers attacked the Brussels airport and a busy metro station.
Isis has claimed responsibility for the atrocities.
European football governing body Uefa reaffirmed its commitment to "safety and security" at this summer's Euro 2016 tournament in France, although Uefa executive vice-committee president Giancarlo Abete said games could be held behind closed doors if the threat was strong enough.
"Euro 2016 is the kind of event we can't delay or postpone," he told Radio 24. "We can't exclude the possibility of playing behind closed doors as we cannot exclude terrorism."
