BILL OF THE WEEK
Vivat Bacchus London Bridge played host to an accountancy firm holding an out-of-office departmental meeting and celebration on Friday evening, and took the opportunity to pre-launch its upcoming Saturday jazz nights, which officially start this week. The 16 accountants were certainly in the mood for a celebration, quaffing on a jeroboam and two magnums of Billecart-Salmon Rose, three bottles of Domaine Jacques Prieur Puligny-Montrachet 2005 and four of Ernie Els 2004.
The party grazed on a selection of world platters – covering South Africa to Greece and back to England via France – and also managed to sample the restaurant’s famous cheese room.
