Bitcoin down on the day but up over the last week as markets adopt a scarlet tone

Bitcoin is trading at $16,220 this morning, down 1.8% in the last day, but the largest crypto by market cap has gained 1.07% over the last week.

Ethereum has slid by 3.3% since yesterday, changing hands for $1,171 today. 

Market sentiment seems to have recovered somewhat from the previous few weeks, with the Fear & Greed Index at 28 today, a significant improvement from last week’s lows of 20.

This optimism is yet to reflect in prices of cryptocurrencies. Cardano and Solana, along with most other cryptocurrencies, are trading in the red today, with ADA losing 4% on yesterday’s price, and SOL down by roughly 6%.
