Black Friday is upon us so it's probably time to completely overhaul your wardrobe – here's a roundup of the best deals among high street and designer brands.

Asos has a massive 20 per cent off all clothing if you use the code GOGOGO – the sale is running over the weekend.

High street favourite Topshop has a 50 per cent reduction on certain items until the 28 November – here's what's on offer.

At New Look, selected styles are 50 per cent cheaper over this weekend.

Uniqlo has a selection of clothing on offer with prices starting from £4.90.

US giant Gap is offering 40 per cent off all full-price clothing until 27 November, when  you use the promo code FRIDAYGAP.

And even Marks & Spencer, which isn't taking part in Black Friday, has slashed prices – including 30 per cent off dressing gowns.

Higher end hauls

At French Connection, there's 50 per cent off selected items.

And Banana Republic, part of the same group as Gap, is fully embracing the Black Friday trend – reduced items can be found here.

Iconic British brand Barbour has a number of products on sale today – including this classic wax jacket which is reduced to £280 from £399.

And the Duchess of Cambridge's favourite brand Hobbs is offering 20 per cent off everything until midnight 28 November.

Designer deals

At the other end of the fashion spectrum, Selfridges has tried to put a slightly glossier spin on Black Friday, with its "Christmas Comes Early" event – it's offering 20 per cent off Christmas shopping, with 10 per cent off beatury & fragrance products, when you use the promo code SELFCCE.

Harvey Nichols has a whopping 25 per cent off fashion and accessories, and 10 per cent off beauty.

But what is Black Friday?

If you're still not sure what Black Friday is all about, this video provides a quick recap of how it's gone down in previous years:
