Bloodgate doc not struck off
RUGBY UNION: The doctor at the centre of the Bloodgate scandal has escaped being struck off and had her suspension lifted by the General Medical Council.
Dr Wendy Chapman, who said the 18-month saga had been a “great strain”, admitted deliberately cutting the mouth of Tom Williams as the Harlequins winger sought to fabricate a blood injury during a Heineken Cup match.
