FORMER Gloucester and Bristol boss Dean Ryan has been touted as a possible replacement for Tony Hanks after Wasps parted company with the New Zealander yesterday.

Hanks departs after a run of just one win in six games and a group stage exit from the Heineken Cup. Head coach Shaun Edwards has been placed in temporary charge for tomorrow’s trip to Leicester, but will be absent the following weekend on Wales duty.

Meanwhile, Leeds director of rugby Andy Key has left the bottom-of-the-table club, with head coach Neil Back placed in charge.
