Byron Hamburgers to get new big cheese chairman in former Morrisons boss Dalton Philips and new chief exec
There will be a new chair at the table at Byron Hamburgers this week, when former Wm Morrison boss Dalton Philips will be appointed chairman of the up-and-coming restaurant chain.
The appointment could come as soon as tomorrow, Sky News reported.
It will be Philips' biggest corporate role since leaving the supermarket at the beginning of last year. His departure was prompted by disappointing Christmas sales.

Philips will join Byron at the same time as retail veteran Andrew Manders, who was previously at Fired Earth, who will become the high-street burger shack's new chief executive.
Its founder, Tom Byng, has decided to leave Byron to pursue new entrepreneurial ventures, Sky said.

Byron's reputation was subjected to a social media storm this summer, when claims emerged that the group had organised a training day for staff who were then deported by UK border agents.
Two branches were also besieged by insects, when enraged members of the public released cockroaches, crickets and locusts in protest at the immigration claims.
