CAN LIVERPOOL RECLAIM FOURTH PLACE NEXT SEASON OR HAVE THEY NOW FALLEN BEHIND TOTTENHAM AND MANCHESTER CITY?

MARK SUTCLIFFE | MAURICE LACROIX
Yes, I believe Liverpool can, and will, bounce back, but they need an almighty reschuffle this summer, starting by bringing in a new manager. They are a massive club with a huge worldwide fan base, but need to get their house in order behind the scenes.

ROBERT WICKS | POWERBOAT P1
Yes, but I think they need a new manager and no fewer than five new players this summer. Even Carragher and Torres have lost their reliability factor now. Jose Mourinho is the man, but Liverpool will need to sort themselves out to convince him to switch to Anfield.

HAYES COPPARD | RBS
They’re a passionate lot up there on Merseyside and they simply won’t put up with it for too long, so, yes, they’ll be back. But for too long they have relied too heavily on the same old faces and a major overhaul is required to strengthen the squad.
