Captain Hoggard nets Leics deal
CRICKET: Leicestershire yesterday won the race to sign former England seamer Matthew Hoggard on a three-year deal.
Hoggard, 32, will captain the Foxes after opting to continue his career at Grace Road despite a late offer from Sussex.
Hoggard was Yorkshire’s leading bowler last season with 43 wickets before being surprisingly released by the Tykes in the summer.
