RENAULT’S BRAVE NEW WORLD
This is Renault’s latest concept car, a two-seat sports coupe called DeZir. It’s the first car created under new design chief Laurens van den Acker and it’s a stunner. Proving electric cars can be exciting, the prominent grille and the ripple effect on its flanks – if not the asymmetrical scissor doors – may yet make their way through to production Renaults.
ROLLS ROYCE IS MOTORING
Proof that the super rich really don’t do recessions: production at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is at record levels. The company is currently building 15 Phantom and Ghost models a day. It built 300 cars in June alone, and production is up by almost 200 per cent so far this year.
