CAR TALK

Vauxhall’s new Zephyr
Officially it’s only a concept, but make no mistake: most of what you see here is Vauxhall’s new Zephyr. The rakish exterior design of this Zafira Tourer Concept has been inspired by high-speed train design and is conceived to be a “lounge-on-wheels”. Ambient mood lighting, a panoramic windscreen and flexible seating for seven also feature.

Saab 9-5
Here’s the estate version of Saab’s new 9-5. The much anticipated Saab 9-5 SportWagon has just debuted in Geneva. The five-door wagon has always sold well in the UK and with looks like these it should continue to do so. The car was joined by a new concept that points the way to Saab’s increasingly bright future.

Aston Martin Virage
Here’s Aston Martin’s new Virage model, which sits between the DB9 and DBS in the AM range. At around £150k, the 490bhp is midway between its two siblings in power and price and should be less of a handful than the DBS to drive. It is certainly more elegant to look at.a
