Cardiff part company with Jones
Championship club Cardiff have sacked manager Dave Jones after his failure to guide the Welsh team to the Premier League. The Bluebirds missed out on promotion to the top flight through the play-offs for the second year running and the board have moved to end Jones’ six-year spell in charge.
