City Moves for 20 March 2017 – who’s switching jobs at Keystone Law, MarketInvoice and Sage Group

Keystone Law
Chancery Lane-based law firm Keystone Law has appointed five senior lawyers across its residential property, regulatory, dispute resolution, employment and private wealth teams. Katie Cohen (pictured) will join Keystone as residential property partner. She joins from Bircham Dyson Bell, where she was a consultant, and specialises in all aspects of leasehold enfranchisements. She acts for landlords and tenants, advising them on a range of real-estate issues including the sale and purchase of residential property, all aspects of voluntary and statutory lease extensions, and freehold purchases and sales under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 and Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993. Kelly Tinkler will join Keystone as a dispute resolution lawyer, Helen Wyatt has been appointed to the firm’s employment team, Hugh Murphy has joined Keystone’s private wealth specialists and Jeremy Woodcraft will work with Keystone Law’s regulatory group.
MarketInvoice
MarketInvoice, the world’s largest peer-to-peer invoice finance platform, has appointed Giles Andrews as chairman of the board of directors. He will work directly with co-founders Anil Stocker and Ilya Kondrashov to drive scale in the business as well as chairing and managing the board of directors. Giles is an experienced entrepreneur with over 25 years’ experience and a strong track record of building successful, challenger businesses. He is the chairman of Zopa, the world’s first peer-to-peer lending platform, a business he co-founded in 2004 and led as chief executive from 2007 to 2015. Giles is also chairman of Bethnal Green Ventures, the accelerator for start-ups using technology to make social or environmental impact. He read experimental psychology at Oxford University and has an MBA from INSEAD. He received an OBE for services to financial services in the 2016 New Year’s Honours list.
Sage Group
Sage Group has appointed Cath Keers to its board as a non-executive director, with effect from 1 July. Cath will join the firm’s remuneration committee. She started her retail career with Thorn EMI and, after marketing and business development roles at Sky TV, Avon and Next, joined the BT Group in 1996, holding a number of commercial roles, including marketing director O2, chairman of Tesco Mobile and customer director O2. Cath is a non-executive director of the Royal Mail group, TalkTalk Telecom Group plc and Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society Limited (LV=) and is the chairman of Ustwo; digital product and games studio. She was a non-executive director of Home Retail Group from September 2011 to September 2016.
