City Moves for 22 February – Who’s switching jobs at ICG, Duff & Phelps and M3 Consulting?

Today's City Moves cover International Capital Group, Duff & Phelps and M3 Consulting.

Take a look at these movers and shakers.

Intermediate Capital Group

Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) has announced the appointment of Jamie Rivers as a managing director in the UK equity and mezzanine team. He has joined from BC Partners, where he worked for 15 years, originating and executing private equity investments, primarily in the UK. These included Acuris, CarTrawler, Cote Restaurants, Elysium and VetPartners. Jamie will focus on seeking investment opportunities among UK-headquartered companies for the European investment strategy. This is one of ICG’s largest investment strategies, which supports the long-term growth of private companies across Europe by providing flexible capital solutions to support the strategic ambitions of management teams.

Benoit Durteste, ICG chief executive, said: “ICG’s investment approach is predicated on having deep, on-the-ground investment expertise and Jamie has an excellent track record of making successful investments in the UK market.” Jamie said: “ICG has a strong track record of working with management teams to support their growth ambitions and, as a result, delivering strong investment returns. I am delighted to have joined the team.”

Duff & Phelps

Duff & Phelps, the global adviser that protects, restores and maximises value for clients, has announced that Ben Collett has joined the firm as a managing director in its restructuring advisory practice. Working across the Birmingham, Manchester and London offices, Ben will provide advisory services to corporate clients in the UK and Europe. He joins the firm from IMI Precision Engineering, where he was the global director of strategic projects. Prior to that, he spent 27 years with KPMG in the firm’s advisory practice. Ben specialises in assessing and driving strategic change programmes involving restructuring, turnaround, profit improvement and mergers and acquisitions for clients in underperformance and growth situations.

M3 Consulting

London-based development manager M3 Consulting has appointed Richard Parker as senior development manager. Richard, who brings over nine years of experience to M3, started his career at BNP Paribas Real Estate before moving to central London developer Mount Anvil. As senior commercial asset manager, he was responsible for advising on commercial acquisition, development, asset management and investment disposal strategies. A key project will be British Land’s Blossom Street development in London where M3 is working on the 500,000 sq ft mixed use scheme. He will also work with investment manager clients and property companies to drive the front end of projects alongside directors.
