City Moves for 4 March – who’s switching jobs at Impact Healthcare, Stobart Group and Arrow Capital Partners?

Today's City Moves cover Impact Healthcare Reit, Stobart Group and Arrow Capital Partners.

Take a look at these movers and shakers.

Impact Healthcare Reit

Healthcare real estate investment trust Impact Healthcare Reit has announced the appointment of Amanda Aldridge as a non-executive director of the company with immediate effect. Amanda will join the audit, remuneration and nomination committees and will also assume the position as chairman of the audit committee immediately after the company’s annual general meeting in May 2019. Amanda was an audit and advisory partner at KPMG until 2017, when she retired from the partnership, having joined the firm in 1984. She has significant experience as an external auditor, working predominately with quoted clients, often across multiple sites, with a focus on the retail, consumer and distribution sectors. Amanda has also advised quoted companies on corporate transactions and the assessment and remediation of internal controls and held a number of strategic and line management roles during her 32 years with KPMG. Amanda’s audit and advisory work included clients with significant property portfolios. Amanda is currently a non-executive director of Headlam Group and chairman of its audit committee. She is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Stobart Group

Stobart, the aviation, energy and civil engineering group, has announced the appointment of David Blackwood as non-executive director. David is currently a non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee at Dignity and Scapa Group. He was previously chief financial officer of Synthomer from 2007 to 2015, and held a number of senior roles with ICI. David will be a member of the audit, remuneration and nomination committees on appointment and become chairman of the audit committee in June later this year. He will succeed Andrew Wood, who will not put himself forward for re-election at the 2019 annual general meeting after almost six years on the board of Stobart.

Arrow Capital Partners

Arrow Capital Partners, the investor and operator of real estate in Europe and Asia-Pacific, has appointed Paul Surian as investment manager in Europe. In this role, Paul will be responsible for sourcing, underwriting and completing on European transactions across mandates and joint ventures as well as having responsibility for investment performance. Paul joins Arrow Capital Partners having worked six years as a transactions manager with responsibility for sourcing and underwriting real estate deals across Europe, previously working with Katherine Parker and Christian Bearman at Valad Europe. Prior to this he was a property investment analyst at AMP Capital.
