CITY MOVES WHO’S SWITCHING JOBS

Kewill
Kewill, the provider of software and solutions that simplify global trade and logistics, has announced the appointment of Karen Bach to the board as chief financial officer (CFO) with effect from 17 August. Bach joins Kewill from Advanced Computer Software, where she was CFO, where she was closely involved in its over the last year from a shell company into a substantial software and services business in the health care sector.

Ofcom

Communications industry regulator Ofcom yesterday announced the appointment of Lord Norman Blackwell as a non-executive board member for a three year term commencing on 1 September. The vacancy was created when David Currie stepped down as chairman in March. Blackwell is a former partner of McKinsey & Company and was head of the Prime Minister’s policy unit from 1995-1997. He is chairman of Interserve and the senior independent director at Standard Life and Segro.

Ofcom has also announced that Millie Banerjee has been re-appointed as a non-executive board member until 30 June 2011.
