City Moves: Who’s switching jobs in the Square Mile today?

DF Capital

Specialist lender DF Capital has hired a new head of change and continuous improvement, who will    be responsible for leading the development of business innovations across the bank.

Also ensuring organisational processes are most efficient, incoming lead Rachel Taylor brings some 15 years experience to the position.

“My focus will be on delivering at pace but also continuing with the delivery of great customer outcomes that we’ve become known for,” Taylor said, adding that her job will be to “review what we do and work out if and how we can do it even better”. 

Taylor, who has also worked for Swinton Group, Co-op Insurance, Barclays and Britannia Building Society, joins from Aldermore.

CEO Carl D’Ammassa said: “We’ve been looking for an effective and experienced leader to cultivate and maintain a proactive, strategic approach to change management and continuous improvement across the business.  Rachel fits that bill perfectly.”

Interpath Advisory

Financial advisory firm, formerly KPMG’s UK restructuring practice, Interpath Advisory has promoted two senior colleagues, which forms part of a wider promotional spree across the business.

London-based Lucy Brocklebank has been promoted to director, who will bring 15 years to the position, as well as a particular focus on successful preparation to secure Treasury funding.

Around 35 colleagues have also been promoted as part of the spree.

PwC UK has poached its new director from Allen & Overy, who is set to lead its financial services regulatory business.

Andrzej Wieckowski will advise financial services clients on the current regulatory environment and upcoming reforms.  

Andrzej joins from law firm Allen & Overy and brings significant experience of advising on regulatory matters.

The incoming lead is set to work alongside partners Kevin King, David Selden and Annalie Croney.

“Andrzej is a significant enhancement to our multi-disciplinary financial services practice,” financial services legal lead Kevin King said.

“I am delighted to welcome Andrzej, whose skills and experience will hugely benefit our clients as we continue to grow our team and offering.”
