Calling all party people – now's the chance to put to good use your love of the capital's night life, and get paid for it.

The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan is to champion the capital's buzzing night-time economy.

Now the Night Tube has finally got going, it could open the flood gates to a truly 24-hour city that would unlock £43bn in economic benefits and create 115,000 jobs, according to recent research.

Think you have what it takes? Here's what they're looking for…

  • Proven leadership ability
  • Public profile and convening power
  • Thorough understanding of the night time economy
  • Ability to work in a political environment

And what you'd do…

  • Create a vision for London as  24-hour city
  • A road map of how that will be realised
  • Work with the deputy mayors for culture and creative industries, and policing and crime, the Night Time commission, the London Music Board and the Greater London Authority's culture team

The job pays a not half bad £35,000 per year for 2.5 days work a week – perfect for those 72-hour party people.
