Donald Trump brands Kellyanne Conway’s husband a ‘stone cold LOSER’ in bizarre Twitter blast

US President Donald Trump has never been shy throwing around insults on Twitter, with historic targets including North Korean leader Kim Jong Un (“Rocketman”), former FBI director James Comey (“not smart”) and the media (“FAKE NEWS”).

His latest target is more surprising: George Conway, husband of one of his closest aides, Kellyanne Conway.

Trump unleashed a bruising tweet today, branding George Conway “a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!”

George Conway, often referred to as Mr. Kellyanne Conway by those who know him, is VERY jealous of his wife’s success & angry that I, with her help, didn’t give him the job he so desperately wanted. I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 20, 2019

In response George Conway tweeted: “You. Are. Nuts.”

George Conway, a lawyer at elite US firm Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz, had told the Washington Post he turned down an offer to lead the Justice Department’s Civil Division.

In recent days he has criticised Trump on Twitter, suggesting the US President is mentally ill.

Conway has suggested Trump has symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder and malignant narcissism.

Kellyanne Conway is a key aide to the President and ran his successful 2016 campaign.

She is notorious for using the phrase “alternative facts” when trying to defend then White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s false statement about the attendance at Trump’s inauguration.
