EU referendum: Three ex-PMs Tony Blair, John Major and Gordon Brown band together to fight for pro-Europe “In” vote with Britain Stronger in Europe campaign group
Three former Prime Ministers have joined forces to fight for the UK's membership of the European Union, according to reports.
Sir John Major, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown will support the campaign to keep the UK part of the European Union, which is expected to be called Britain Stronger in Europe.
Former Marks & Spencer boss Lord Rose was revealed as the group's chair over the weekend, with Sir Peter Wall, the army's former chief of general staff, on the group's board.

Also involved in the pro-Europe campaign are West Ham vice- chairman Karen Brady and Innocent Drinks founder Richard Reed, the Sunday Times reports.
From outside the business world, backers also include artistic director of London's Southbank Centre Jude Kelly, former union boss Brendan Barber and Liverpool University vice-chancellor Janet Beer.
Further supporters who will be involved in various capacities, include: Lord Mandelson, Sir Danny Alexander, MP Damian Green, City PR man Roland Rudd, Green Party MP Caroline Lucas, Sir Richard Branson, EasyJet boss Carolyn McCall, ex-police chief Sir Hugh Orde, City economist and former BBC editor Stephanie Flanders, and TV presenter June Sarpong.
The pro-EU campaign launch, officially expected on Monday, follows the unveiling of the group backing an EU exit, Vote Leave.
