FA Cup final 2016: How much prize money will Manchester United or Crystal Palace make for winning the trophy?
The financial rewards of the FA Cup will be of little concern to both Crystal Palace and Manchester United in today's final.
A winners' prize of £3.4m – a relatively paltry sum when compared to the vast riches on offer in the Premier League – will do little to add extra motivation to a Palace side aiming to win the club's first major trophy, not a Manchester United closing in on £500m in revenue for the year.
The eventual winners may end up taking over £4m home in total once TV bonuses are added up as the FA gives each club £144,000 every time they're broadcast live.

Yet that pales in comparison to prize money of just under £24m earned by Leicester for winning the Premier League, while winning the Champions League is worth over £40m.
Last season's FA Cup winners Arsenal pocketed just £4.3m from their FA Cup run – 1.2 per cent of their £344.5m turonver for the season.
