FA probe Barnsley crowd chaos
FOOTBALL: The Football Association are to investigate the crowd trouble during Tuesday’s Carling Cup match between Barnsley and Manchester United.
The FA is awaiting statements from a crowd control adviser and referee Chris Foy after several incidents were reported. Seven fans were arrested at the game after trouble erupted at half time, with two more detained at the railway station. United won the match 2-0.
