Fancy a buffet with Warren Buffett? World’s most expensive power lunch with the Oracle of Omaha goes under the hammer (again)

There are some things you can't put a price on, but having lunch with the Oracle of Omaha is not one of them.

The annual action to have lunch with billionaire investor Warren Buffett is underway and already bids have risen above $1,000,500.

There are three days and several hours left to get involved, although the auction is only open to pre-approved buyers. Still if you have a spare million or three (at its peak the lunch went for the princely sum of $3,456,789) why not see if you can get on the list? If your name's not down…

What do you get for your money? The winner may invite up to seven friends to join him or her and Buffett at the lunch, at a restaurant to be decided after the auction.

The winner is not allowed to promote or market the lunch of use Buffett's name or that of his charity Glide, to which 100 per cent of the net proceeds are donated.

The bid is tax deductable…

The Berkshire Hathaway billionaire has been putting himself up for sale in this way since 2003, when David Einhorn from Greenlight Capital bagged Buffet for a bargain $250,100. Here is how the bids have gone over time since then.
