Ferguson no fan of Fifa
FOOTBALL: Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson doubts Fifa will ever become a fully democratic organisation after England’s 2018 World Cup bid was spectacularly shunned by the world governing body last week. Media allegations of corruption in the Zurich-based organisation have led to widespread calls for a reform in its structure. Ferguson said: “I don’t know how you can change Fifa. It is a new word for Fifa, democracy.”
