London Restaurant Festival tickets on sale

A new restaurant looks set to benefit from the new flag-waving atmosphere fuelled by the Olympics and Paralympics. The GrEAT British (see what they did there?), part owned by George Hammer, will open on North Audley Street in October, next-door to Hammer’s One Mayfair venue (pictured).
New venue to hit Leadenhall
A new subterranean bar and 180-cover restaurant, The Factory House, will open in Leadenhall market on 13 September, promising fine wines, cocktails and “innovative twists on classic British dishes”. Expect lots of steam-punk inspired retro machinery. www.thefactoryhouse.co.uk
