FASHIONABLE COCKTAILS AT THE TRAFALAGAR
To prepare for Fashion Week, the Trafalgar Hote’s ground floor bar Rockwell will be serving cocktails inspired by the season’s key looks. The menu includes the Nude Lace, with Mozart white chocolate liqueur, and the Pretty Poetess, with gold rum and cardamom syrup. Very now. £10 each. Trafalgar Hotel, Trafalgar Square.
SAGRA DELIGHTS AT SEMPLICE
In?Italy, “sagra” is a local festival where villagers join forces to celebrate a single ingredient. Michelin-starred Italian Ristorante Semplice has launched its own monthly sagra schedule, kicking off September with the not-so-humble porcini mushroom. Featured dishes will include risotto with porcini mushrooms and piedmontaise veal with spelt and porcini sauce on the menu. In October it’s all about the white truffle.
