CELEBRITY BAKER OPENS PARLOUR
Cake “designer” to the stars Peggy Porschen is opening a parlour in Belgravia, with freshly baked cookies and cakes of all hues and shapes. Teas are home-made and include gingerbread, caramel and passion fruit. For the truly enthusiastic, the parlour also stocks home-wares and cake accoutrements. HAWKSMOOR SEVEN DIALS OPENS
No detail has been overlooked: even the parquet floor at this much-buzzed restaurant has been salvaged from a Christie’s auction. Menu highlights include a pared-back Burger Van burger and a Kimchi burger, discovered on a trip to Seoul and made with homemade kimchi.
