Wine website launches

Jewish delights to cook
Warn bagels and apple strudel, anyone? So titled is the book of heart-warming, “nostalgic” Jewish recipes from food writers Ruth Joseph and Simon Round. Whatever religion you are, your mouth should start watering approximately immediately upon opening the book. Carbs figure shamelessly: the front cover features thick, crusty, odd-shaped bagels decked in sesame and poppy seeds. Once past this, you’ll find bourekas (samosa-like pastries), perfect pretzels, strudels, dumplings, orange and olive oil cake. It’s not all heart attack food: there are some beautiful salads too.
