Der Hammer finally set for Irons debut
GERMAN midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger will finally make his West Ham debut against Burnley in the FA Cup tonight.

The former Aston Villa star joined in the summer from Lazio but has missed the entire season with a thigh injury.

Away from the FA Cup, West Ham received a boost in their fight for Premier League survival as relegation rivals West Brom and Wolves drew in the Black Country derby.

A Wolves win would have seen West Ham go bottom of the table but Carlos Vela scored in injury time for West Brom to level the game at 1-1.

Vieira at the double as City ease through
FOUR-TIME FA Cup winner Patrick Vieira scored twice as Manchester City beat Notts County 5-0 in the FA Cup fourth-round replay at Eastlands.

Vieira headed a brace before three late goals gave the scoreline a one-sided appearance.

The introduction of City captain Carlos Tevez saw the hosts take control of the game – he scored a fine solo goal before crossing for Edin Dzeko to make it four.

Micah Richards smashed home the final goal in added time and City will now face Aston Villa at Eastlands in the fifth round.
