Håkon Haraldsson struck from the edge of the box just before the half‑hour mark, following a clever pass from Olivier Giroud. Six minutes later Dilane Bakwa, on loan from Nottingham Forest, doubled the advantage, leaving the visitors looking set for a defeat.
Vitinha netted in the first added minute, and his subsequent cross was met by Marquinhos, who rose to head the ball home and level the score.
