The Portuguese star and his long‑time partner celebrated a low‑key wedding, underscoring their combined social‑media clout and business ventures.

Cristiano Ronaldo, 41, confirmed his marriage to long‑term partner Georgina Rodriguez, 32, with an Instagram post showing their intertwined hands and wedding bands, captioned “C (heart) G”. The ceremony was described as private and intimate, and all five of the couple’s children were present.
The event was organised by the Brunswick Group, the PR firm that handles Ronaldo’s media relations. It took place exactly one year after Rodriguez announced their engagement on Instagram, marking a symbolic anniversary for the pair.
Rodriguez first encountered Ronaldo in 2016 while working at a Gucci store in Madrid. She later described the moment as “love at first sight”. In a 2025 interview with Vogue Arabia she recalled feeling an instant sense of peace, saying:
"as if we had known each other forever"
Since then, the pair have built a shared life that includes a Netflix reality series titled “I am Georgina”, and a portfolio of investments ranging from fashion labels to a hotel chain.
Ronaldo, who recently represented Portugal at the World Cup and now plays for Saudi club Al‑Nassr, has won five Ballon d’Or awards. Rodriguez’s media profile has risen alongside her football partner, and together they command more than 750 million followers across platforms. Their combined reach makes them attractive partners for global advertisers and could see new joint endorsement deals emerge.
Looking ahead, the couple’s heightened visibility is likely to translate into expanded business opportunities, from luxury collaborations to further streaming projects, while their personal brand continues to shape consumer trends worldwide.
