Google: Everything you need to know about new smartphones Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, tablet Pixel C and Chromecast – including price and UK release date
Google unveiled two new smartphones and a new tablet in chief executive Sundar Pichai's first new product presentation since stepping into the role earlier this year.
The Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X smartphones will utilise Google's new Android Marshmallow operating system, while the Pixel C is a powerful new tablet that will rival Apple's new iPad Pro.

Google engineering director Andrei Popescu said: "The Nexus devices are our idea of embodiment of the perfect Android device – a platform for application developers to show off the new features of Marshmallow and show what Android can do."

Nexus 6P
The Nexus 6P marks the first time Google has teamed up with Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei to create what the company describes as its "most premium phone yet".
A modified, slightly smaller version of its Nexus 6 smartphone, the 6P is roughly the same size as the iPhone 6 plus but has a bigger 5.7-inch display screen.
The aluminium phone (it's the first Nexus with an all-metal body) comes with a bigger and better quality camera than most smartphones thanks to the new Nexus camera with a 12.3-megapixel image sensor.
Price: £449 for 32GB of storage, £499 for 64GB and £579 for 128GB.
UK availability: 26 October.
Nexus 5X
Google teamed up with frequent collaborator LG on the new 5.2-inch Nexus 5X. Like the 6P, it is fitted with a fingerprint scanner on its back that simply requires a tap from the owner's finger to unlock.
Both new smartphones also share the USB type-c connector for charging – common across Google products.
Price: £339 – £379 for 32GB of storage.
UK availability: 16 October.
Pixel C tablet
Chief executive Sundar Pichai revealed a powerful new tablet version of Google's Chromebook laptop – the Pixel C – to rival the iPad Pro. The large 10.2-inch screen (the same size as an A4 piece of paper) comes with a magnetically attached regular size keyboard charged by the tablet itself.
Pichai said: "The Pixel C will get better over time with software updates every six weeks…it will be available in time for the holiday season."
Starting price: £329 (£427 with keyboard).
UK availability: Expected pre-Christmas, but not official date set.
What else?
Google provided a first good look at its new Marshmallow operating system which pledges to extend battery life and faster voice activation software.
Two new Chromecast streaming devices were also unveiled – one for displaying video and photos on TV and the other for playing music through speakers.
The audio dongle will allow users to play music through Spotify or other streaming services through connected speakers.
